Santa Monica How-To
Project Santa Monica features a wealth of user controls to help tailor the speaker’s performance to your room and application. Using our free Kali Control Panel app, you can fully calibrate the loudspeaker’s performance to your space.
Each tuning allows you 8 parametric EQs, 12 milliseconds of digital delay, and speaker trim from -12 dB to +6 dB.
For a $50 per speaker fee, Kali can send you tuning files for your speakers based on your measurements. We have outlined a measurement process that you must undergo, which you can find as both a PDF and a video series below. It is recommended to purchase an Earthworks M23R measurement microphone for this process.
Early adopters of the SM-Series speakers who purchase an Earthworks M23R will have this fee waived for a limited time!
