Kali’s debut line of studio monitors featured a 6.5-inch and an 8-Inch 2 way system. These monitors immediately drew praise for their accuracy, low distortion, and hyper-realistic imaging. They are succeeded by 2nd Wave versions: the LP-6 V2, LP-6W V2, and LP-8 V2. The 2nd Wave versions have 12 dB lower noise floor, 3 dB higher output, smoother high frequency response, and other upgrades that benefit the acoustic and cosmetic quality of the speakers. Kali’s first coincident studio monitor, the original IN-8 was built on the same platform of the LP-8, adding a third amp channel and a mid-range transducer. It is succeeded by the 2nd Wave IN-8, also called the IN-8 V2. The 2nd Wave version is built on a new platform the realizes improvements in noise floor, THD, and system construction. Kali’s first subwoofer was a 12-Inch monster made to go into demanding studio environments and even some smaller live sound applications. Its replacement, the WS-12 V2, adds a pole cup for mounting top boxes, new crossover options based on user feedback, and substantially reduced noise on the high-passed outputs.
